Mexican tiles

Found this project in a magazine from 1995.  It was originally painted on silk. I painted on an 11 x 14 canvas in acryllic paints. I really liked the colors and the composition. Makes you want to come and enjoy the beach. Enjoy.

Orange hedgehog cactus

This 12x16 cactus was a class project. Now I have to find an appropriate frame. Very happy with the way it turned out.

Penny rug rabbit

Painted this 8 x 10 penny rug design for a class project. This was the second penny rug design in the folk art genre. I like the way it turned out with the white frame. Hope you like it too.

This is a 5x7 primitive "penny rug" design that we did for a class project. I placed it in this upcycled frame that I got from the SECOND TIME AROUND store in BARDSTOWN, KY.

Fraktur Style Painting

Painted this 9 inch wooden plate in a Pennsylvania German Fraktur style. This type of art found mostly on Birth and Baptismal certificates in the 18th and 19th centuries. Painted for class. Piece was crackled and antiqued to age.
